My family laugh and think I’m joking when complaining of headaches starting if I haven’t run for several days, but it’s true. At least it had only been 4 days. The ward was just too busy to allow for a run after work until tonight. The weather has been better so a run through Neville’s Cross was really quite pleasant. Again more runners than usual, young people looking self conscious, older runners carrying injuries. They tend to wear knee splints and a variety of black braces. Sometimes they seem to be in so much pain.

Please may it never be like that for me.
