The last day in New York and a last run around Central Park. Have really enjoyed the runs here and today no exception. The weather has been particularly fine, not too hot or humid, especially in the early morning. Again it felt rather good to be one of the faster runners doing the circuit, it doesn’t often happen.

The sheer variety of people walking, running, cycling, walking dogs and the like made for an endlessly fascinating time. The only problem with being in New York has been the frantic pace at which everything has happened. It certainly has not been a relaxing holiday, but one of the most stimulating we’ve had for a long time.
